Position: Retail Store Manager - 2814
Location: Mangonia Park

Retail Store Manager – $23.80 to $31.25 per hour. In addition to the hourly rate, managers can earn a lucrative monthly bonus.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer‑service experience (retail/sales is a PLUS). The Store Manager will be accountable for day‑to‑day operations, create a positive and productive environment, lead, coach, and develop employees, recruit and retain talent, maximize financial goals, and manage customer relations and satisfaction. The role requires strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret financial statements to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues.
  • Assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent through company‑prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store, including cash drawer and merchandise counts.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safe procedures.
  • Administer processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, and enterprise‑level reporting.
  • Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability.
  • Maintain operating standards that meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to uphold loan quality.
  • Complete assigned training and self‑development tasks.
  • Communicate clearly with employees about mission and profit objectives.
  • Keep product knowledge up‑to‑date.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated supervisory ability.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearm‑certified.
  • May need to assist customers outside the building or retrieve products from storage areas.
  • Minimum age: 18 years.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to work multiple locations as business needs dictate.
  • Must work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Store Managers will work 45+ hours a week, hours are not guaranteed.
  • Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines.
  • Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Cash handling experience required.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent work ethic and strong business sense.
Commission Plan Information

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Store Managers receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit. More details are provided during the interview.
