Position Overview

The Gift Store Volunteer at Loggerhead Marinelife Center plays a crucial role in maintaining the store's operational efficiency and ensuring an excellent customer experience. Volunteers are responsible for store maintenance, customer assistance, and supporting store staff during various periods of activity.

• Store Maintenance and Tidying
  • Regularly walk around the store to keep displays tidy and organized.
  • Restock shelves with products as needed to ensure items are available for customers.
  • Clean displays and fixtures, maintaining the overall cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
  • Fold and organize clothing items to ensure they are presented neatly and attractively.
• Customer Assistance
  • Assist customers in locating clothing and other items throughout the store.
  • Answer any customer inquiries about products or store policies (information will be provided).
  • Provide general support to store associates in delivering excellent customer service.
• Support During Slow Periods
  • Assist the receiving manager with incoming deliveries when guest traffic is low.

In an effort to promote sustainability, we are offering a uniform upcycling program where new volunteers may select to receive one gently used uniform top instead of a brand-new one. Sizes are limited. If selected size is not in stock, then volunteers will receive a new shirt by default.
