to join our sales team.
This role is key to expanding our client base, enhancing revenue streams, and developing long-term relationships with corporate and group clientele. If you re driven by performance, thrive in a collaborative resort environment, and have a passion for hospitality, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue Growth
:
Meet and exceed business revenue targets through strategic prospecting, client acquisition, and expansion of existing accounts. - Client Relationship Management
:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure loyalty, satisfaction, and repeat business. - Sales Strategy & Execution
:
Leverage market data, competitor analysis, and sales tools (e.g., Hoteligence®, STR®) to identify and pursue high-value opportunities. - Proposal Development
:
Sell, coordinate, and detail customized group events, including meetings, conferences, and food & beverage services. - Room Block Management: Secure and manage grouproomblock allocations, negotiate group rates, communicate with event organizers to ensure accurateroomblock needs are met, monitor room availability within the block, and resolve any issues related to group bookings to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
:
Partner with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of client experiences from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up. - Data-Driven Insights
:
Utilize CRM and sales systems to report, forecast, and communicate business development activity. - Brand Representation
:
Represent the Sundial brand professionally at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to generate new leads. - Compliance & Standards
:
Adhere to all company SOPs, brand requirements, and safety standards while maintaining a professional and welcoming environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of proven success in hospitality sales, business development, or a similar client-facing role within a resort or hotel setting.
- Delphi experience required; familiarity with Opera preferred.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop strategy, build relationships, and close deals.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technologically proficient with CRM systems and market intelligence tools.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Florida state associations is a strong plus.
- Must be flexible with scheduling to meet client and business needs.
