Position Overview
As a Sales Associate, you will be an integral part of our sales team, responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting and selling our range of high-quality windows and doors to residential and commercial clients. You will leverage your exceptional communication skills and product knowledge to provide excellent customer service, build lasting relationships, and meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Generation:
Proactively engage with potential customers to identify their needs and recommend suitable windows and doors solutions. Utilize various sales techniques to convert leads into sales, maximizing revenue opportunities. - Product Knowledge:
Develop a comprehensive understanding of our windows and doors product line, including features, benefits, and technical specifications. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market. - Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale support. Address customer questions, concerns, and objections in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive experience. - Relationship Building:
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders within the construction industry. Network effectively to generate referrals and repeat business. - Quoting and Pricing:
Prepare accurate and competitive price quotations based on customer requirements and project specifications. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure sales while maintaining profitability. - Order Processing:
Process sales orders promptly and accurately, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely delivery and installation of windows and doors. - Marketing Support:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and digital content to support sales efforts. Participate in trade shows, industry events, and other marketing activities as needed. - Administrative Tasks:
Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline forecasts using CRM software. Generate reports and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Technical aptitude to understand product specifications and provide technical support to customers.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- This position may require occasional travel within the designated sales territory.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary to accommodate customer appointments and events.
