Position Summary

The BDC Associate is responsible for managing customer communications and driving dealership growth by generating appointments, following up on leads, and delivering exceptional service that represents the Volkswagen brand. This role plays a vital part in helping the dealership meet and surpass monthly Volkswagen performance targets while ensuring every customer interaction contributes to high survey satisfaction scores .

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and internet leads with professionalism and accuracy.

Set, confirm, and follow up on appointments for both the Sales and Service departments.

Support dealership goals by actively engaging customers and promoting available Volkswagen products, services, and promotions.

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-ups within the CRM system.

Collaborate with Sales Managers and Service Advisors to ensure smooth transitions and exceptional customer experiences.

Work diligently to meet and exceed Volkswagen's monthly performance metrics and standards.

Ensure customer satisfaction surveys (CSI) are consistently positive by providing clear communication and exceptional follow-through.

Assist with customer retention initiatives, dealership events, and marketing campaigns.

Uphold the professional image and brand reputation of Palmetto
57 Volkswagen at all times.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, or call center environment (automotive preferred).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-oriented mindset.
