Overview
As an Orkin Home Sales Inspector, you will leverage a persuasive pitch based on the industry‑leading Orkin brand with award‑winning training and a guarantee of customer satisfaction. You’ll help homeowners protect their asset with a high‑performance sales approach, cross‑selling pest protection services, and contributing to a talented team. No prior experience is required – you’ll receive comprehensive training, a company vehicle, competitive pay, a 401(k) program, and opportunities for community volunteer work.
ResponsibilitiesYou’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections of properties you will identify problems, build trusted relationships, and guide clients toward the best pest solution.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with utmost professionalism and integrity.
- Serve as an empathetic problem‑solver for customers using training to recommend the best innovative solution.
- Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
- Schedule sales appointments and meet with customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products can give them peace of mind.
- Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home.
- Make recommendations based on inspections, addressing questions and setting expectations.
- Use the iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.

- FIRST YEAR POTENTIAL EARNINGS $80K.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No experience required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain the required pesticide license/certification (company paid).
- Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties.
- Safely use a ladder within manufacturer capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator if required.
- Willing to work in various weather conditions.
