Position Overview

The role reports to a Regional Sales Manager and focuses on the Nephrology/Endocrinology therapeutic area, targeting both community and academic audiences. The successful candidate will act as the CEO of their territory, driving sales for the nephrology product Rayaldee® (calcifediol) and related offerings.

Responsibilities
  • Target Nephrology and Endocrinology audiences in community and academic settings.
  • Act as the “CEO” of the assigned sales territory and lead the territory strategy.
  • Travel to meet the needs of the territory geography.
  • Utilize CRM/Salesforce for territory planning, forecasting and reporting.
  • Foster open dialogue with physicians, specialty pharmacies and other stakeholders to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Learn OPKO products and become a subject‑matter expert on disease state, product and competitors.
  • Execute in a fast‑paced environment and maintain a proven sales record of results.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of pharmaceutical specialty physician sales with a proven track record.
  • Experience in retail pharmaceutical sales (not buyandbill).
  • Demonstrated pull‑through experience with specialty pharmacies.
  • Specialty pharmaceutical experience in Nephrology and/or Endocrinology preferred.
  • Experience working in startup pharmaceuticals or biopharma companies preferred.
  • Organized, motivated and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM/Salesforce required.
  • Ability to foster open dialogue and demonstrate excellent customer service.
  • Ability to learn and grow into a subject‑matter expert on OPKO products.
Pay Range

$ – $ per year.
