Reconstruction Sales Representative (Sarasota / Bradenton)
Smith+Naphew designs and manufactures technology that enables people to live fully. This role is a technical consultant in the Orthopaedic Reconstruction product portfolio, specializing in total joint reconstruction.
Key ResponsibilitiesConvert physicians/accounts by making sales calls and providing clinical case coverage in the operating room while training surgeons on Smith+Naphew products through education and programs within your territory. Work collaboratively with podiatric and orthopedic surgeons, hospitals, OR staff, sterile processing department, administration, clinicians, and researchers. Increase awareness and adoption of products, including the CORI robotic surgical & navigation system.
Success Profile- Technical expertise in the Orthopaedic Joint Reconstruction portfolio.
- Ability to build positive relationships with surgeons, key opinion leaders, and hospital administration to access customers.
- Develop an effective territory business plan to generate revenue and meet or exceed quota.
- Self‑motivated salesmanship and strategic responsibility for your area.
- Results‑driven champion passionate about relationships to increase sales revenue within the territory.
- Resourceful consultant who will become proficient in joint reconstruction and provide first‑class technical support.
- Collaborative teammate committed to partnering with reconstruction and sports medicine counterparts in the region.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in the medical device industry preferred.
- Preferred experience selling orthopedic products in the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record selling and converting business at the surgeon or hospital level.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members and new sales representatives.
Within designated sales territory with 2-4 overnight trips per month. Infrequent national travel for events and conferences.
