Director of Sales and Marketing

What You’ll Do

• Own the community’s sales and occupancy strategy and drive results against established goals.
• Manage the full sales journey-from initial inquiry and relationship-building through deposit and move-in.
• Connect with prospective residents and families to understand their needs and confidently present the community’s services and advantages.
• Build and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare professionals, senior organizations, hospitals, skilled nursing communities, financial and legal professionals, clergy, and local partners.
• Develop and execute creative marketing plans, events, presentations, and outreach strategies that generate qualified leads.
• Represent Inspired Living throughout the local community and build awareness through networking, professional organizations, and community events.
• Develop relationships with current residents and families to generate referrals and strengthen resident retention.
• Monitor sales activity, lead sources, conversion ratios, occupancy, and revenue opportunities.
• Use lead management systems to track prospects, follow-ups, sales activity, and results.
• Partner with community leadership to identify opportunities to improve occupancy, revenue, and the overall resident experience.
• Keep leadership informed of sales activity, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Bring fresh ideas, energy, and creativity to the sales and marketing strategy!

• 5+ years of outside sales experience required.
• Experience in a service-focused industry preferred; senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related sales experience is a plus.
• Proven success building relationships, generating leads, and closing business.
• Strong networking, presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel locally for networking, events, presentations, and business development.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Comfortable using CRM/lead management systems and analyzing sales data.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• A confident, upbeat leader who enjoys challenges and inspires others to succeed.
• Most importantly, a genuine passion for helping families and creating exceptional experiences.
