Description

The goal of this project is to process samples for the Mote Scientific Foundation Grant received in Spring 2026. This includes analyzing brevetoxin concentration and microbiome profiles of Spotted Eagle Rays and their prey items.
Examples of Duties

• General lab assistance to maintain an organized lab environment and cleaning tools related to sample preparation.
• Assist faculty with primary research by working on preparing/dissecting, homogenizing, and optimizing protocols related to microbiome and brevetoxin research
• Other duties as assigned
