Position
Research Center for Macromolecules and Biomaterials, Smart Polymers Group (Fixed‑Term)
ResponsibilitiesPolymer synthesis; cell experiments; animal experiments; analysis of experimental data; and other necessary research‑related work. Duties may change within the scope of the employee’s position.
QualificationsExperience in organic synthesis or polymer synthesis plus cell culture experiments is preferred. Computer skills are preferred and ability to communicate in English or Japanese.
TermNational Institute for Materials Science, Namiki‑Site (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki). Change of workplace is limited to the Employer’s sites or other locations separately approved by the Employer.
Work Hours5–7 hours a day, 3–5 days a week. Working days and hours can be discussed; flextime allows adjustment of working days.
HolidaySaturdays, Sundays, and National Holidays.
Salary & CompensationBased on NIMS regulations. Includes commuting allowance and national insurance.
Trial PeriodTwo months from the start date of employment.
InsuranceNational Public Servants Mutual Aid Association short‑term, employees’ pension insurance, employment insurance, and workers’ compensation insurance, as applicable under laws and regulations.
