Job Description

We are seeking a part‑time chocolatier in training who is passionate about chocolate to join our team and contribute to the creation of our exceptional chocolate products. The ideal candidate will have some culinary background with decorating skills, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for crafting delicious and visually appealing confections.

Responsibilities
  • Chocolate Production:
    Expertly temper chocolate and create a variety of chocolate products, including our favorite dipped items, bars, and seasonal specialties.
  • Quality Control:
    Maintain high standards of quality throughout the production process, ensuring that all chocolates meet our company's specifications for taste, texture, and appearance.
  • Hygiene and Safety:
    Adhere to strict sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment, in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Presentation:
    Pay careful attention to the presentation of finished chocolates, packaging them per the recipe manual specifications.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with other members of the team, providing support and assistance as needed to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a professional kitchen or a decorating role in a bakery facility preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for hygiene and sanitation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Education and Training
  • Certification in culinary arts, pastry arts, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Additional training or certification in chocolate‑making techniques is a plus.
