The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks a Scientist (Water Ecology) II for Hawthorne Laboratory. You will perform field sampling and analyses from boats and sites across watersheds, compiling and reporting water quality data while maintaining equipment and QC records.
Responsibilities include operating sampling gear, following ELAP quality controls, and adhering to EH&S standards. 35-hour weeks with some night/weekend work; NYS driver's license required.
