the chemist ii position, , is in the division of environmental assessment and restoration’s chemistry program, nutrients section, in tallahassee. The incumbent will be responsible for the analysis of environmental samples for nutrients, inorganic anions, and other related compounds. This work is critical for the assessment of water quality and restoration projects for the state of florida.

minimum qualifications
  • at least five (5) years of verifiable related experience in chemistry, environmental sciences, natural sciences, biological sciences, or physical sciences . Post-secondary degrees may be used as an alternative for the required years of experience on a year-for-year basis. A credential evaluation report from an approved agency must be submitted along with all foreign degrees.
  • participate in the dep medical monitoring program as position is medical monitored
preferred qualifications

at least 2 years of experience performing total suspended solids/total dissolved solids (tss/tds) analysis.

pay

$3,945.84 (monthly)
