Position: Security Officer Armed Airfield Clearance Required — De Leon Springs, FL

You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence, respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service, document observations, support access control and incident response, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity and putting people first.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating communications and requesting additional resources as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards, suspicious conditions, and policy violations.
  • Control access through security-related screening and verification of identification, badges, and vehicle credentials, and/or manage entry and exit points in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation of patrols, incidents, and visitor activity, and/or support investigations by preserving observations and cooperating with site leadership and law enforcement when required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Have 2+ years' law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
  • Have an armed guard card/license.
  • Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
  • Be 21+ years of age (and at least 21 years of age for armed roles).
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
