As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in Tallahassee, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and keep detailed reports of observations. Working as part of an agile, reliable team, you will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, respond to calls for assistance, and bring a caring, people-first approach while always acting with integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients and location personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the warehouse, yard, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards to operations.
• Monitor access points such as gatehouse and dock entrances, verify identification and/or credentials, and maintain visitor, contractor, and driver logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete accurate documentation including incident reports, patrol logs, and shift activity reports, and use surveillance systems and/or radios to support security-related operations.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
