Security Officer – South Florida Baptist Hospital

• Patrol and detection services
• Assisting customers
• Response and intervention responsibilities
• Provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety
• Complete communication and documentation tools
• Conduct weapons screening in an appropriate manner
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Required specific skills also include life safety and weapons screening techniques

Certifications and Licensures

• Driver’s License (State of Florida)
• IAHSS (Security) – Within 1 year
• Security D – Within 90 days
• Preferred: FDLE (Law Enforcement)

Education

• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred:
  Associate’s in Related Field

Experience

• 1 year Customer Service
• Preferred: 2 years Security
• Preferred: 1 year Healthcare in related field
• Preferred: 1 year in Hospital related field
