As a Security Officer Armed Inmate Transport in Bushnell, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support the public with strong communication and professionalism.
This is an armed, driving post for individuals who value teamwork, integrity, and a caring culture while delivering reliable, agile service in a dynamic environment.

Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and visitor activity while following post orders and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations through appropriate channels.
Support public-facing operations by assisting staff, visitors, and law enforcement personnel with directions, access control, and incident documentation as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
