Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and support controlled entry procedures for staff, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site guidelines.

Maintain readiness to handle alarm response, medical calls, and other urgent situations while following post orders, use of force guidelines, and Allied Universal standards.

• Possession of an armed guard card or license is required.
• Possession of a corrections officer license is required.
• Possession of a law enforcement officer license is required.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton qualifications are preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
