This is a driving post. In this role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, agile approach while helping staff, patients, and visitors throughout the location.

Pay Rate: $18.49 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time Wed 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and reporting of unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support staff with security‑related requests, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in a timely manner.
- Assist with handling medical facility protocols such as restricted area monitoring, after‑hours access activity, and coordination with site contacts during urgent events.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- Required hospital vaccines must be completed or provided as applicable.
- Ability to work in and around a hospital morgue is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
