Security Officer – Armed Patrol (Clearance Required)

Location: De Leon Springs, FL

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a defense and aerospace location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support the control of entry and exit for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
• Support incident reporting, maintain accurate activity logs, and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to Allied Universal management and designated site representatives.

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
