Armed School Security Officer – Tallahassee, FL – 7+ Years Law Enforcement Required

Dynamic Integrated Security Inc. is hiring an Armed School Security Officer to support school safety in Tallahassee, FL. This position is ideal for a highly qualified professional with more than 7 years of law enforcement experience and the required armed security licenses.

$15.00 per hour during academy training
$22.00 per hour upon successful graduation
$24.00 per hour after completion of the 90-day probation period

• Enforce security procedures and school safety protocols
• Respond to emergencies and critical incidents
• Help prevent conflicts and maintain a safe environment
• Conduct drills and support training exercises
• Complete incident reports and required documentation
• Build professional, respectful relationships with staff and students

• High school diploma or GED
• More than 7 years of experience in law enforcement
• Experience in military, corrections, security, or emergency response preferred, but law enforcement experience is the priority
• Strong firearms skills and tactical training
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors for extended periods

• Valid Florida D License
• Valid Florida G License
• Valid CCW license
• Valid Florida Driver’s License
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must pass drug screening in accordance with s. 112.0455
• Must pass psychological evaluation under Chapter 490
• Must pass background screening
• Must own personal firearm, duty belt, Level 3 retention holster, and 5 magazines
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must be available to work on-site full-time, 8-hour shifts

• Crisis management and problem-solving
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Knowledge of school safety and law enforcement procedures
• Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail
