As a Security Officer – Utilities Patrol in Juno Beach, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as utilities. As an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols and utility location requirements.
• Support emergency and severe weather procedures by communicating relevant information, assisting with controlled access during incidents, and following post orders for utility‑related operations.

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
