You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents.

• Tue: 08:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Wed: 08:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Thur: 08:30 AM - 01:30 PM

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions as directed by site policies, and report suspicious behavior, damaged barriers, and/or maintenance concerns that could affect location operations.
• Support operational continuity by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and assisting with incident response, evacuations, and/or restricted area control when needed.

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
