Overview
This position with Amentum supports the United States Central Command J23 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) branch through the development and approval of collection requirements throughout the USCENTCOM area of responsibility (AOR). Collection Managers (CM) support a critical function within the ISR cycle by ensuring component requirements are prioritized and actioned, reducing intelligence gaps and driving allocation decisions. The role requires blending doctrinal practices with emerging technological advancements and the ability to translate intelligence needs into clearly articulated collection requirements.
WorkSchedule
Varies but typically Monday – Friday, 0800 to 1600.
Essential Responsibilities- Engage with analysts to determine intelligence needs, identify and develop possible collection postures and strategies, and convert these needs into collection requirements to satisfy USCENTCOM intelligence requirements.
- Establish priorities, task or coordinate with appropriate collection sources or agencies, monitor results, and re-task as required.
- Support solicitation, coordination, research, de-confliction, creation/registration, prioritization, and validation of multiple discipline collection requirements management (CRM) for GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, and HUMINT per standing policy.
- Maintain associated trackers and programs of record for collection requirements.
- Translate received requirements into discipline-specific language in accordance with SOPs and Combat Support Agency (CSA) guidance.
- Research and manage USCENTCOM Theater priorities or Intelligence Community (IC) priorities to align collection requests with priorities, balancing time-sensitive requests with standing requirements to ensure appropriate ISR asset deployment.
- Manage daily/weekly Joint Intelligence Prioritized Collection List/Component Intelligence Collection List databases as required.
- Monitor and provide updates to requestors on collection requirements status (submission for tasking, expected collection schedule, etc.) and adjust requirements to ensure optimal deployment of limited assets.
- Review existing collection requirements, contact originators on status, disposition, and expiration; determine continued relevance and direct resubmission or cancellation as needed.
- Develop ISR utilization and contribution summaries and manage issue and requirements tracking databases.
- Bachelor’s degree or specialized training with 4–6 years of intelligence experience.
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Compensation: $82,000 – $85,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, and applicable laws.
