Job Overview
Seastate Land Services Company is seeking experienced Block Masons to support large-scale residential construction projects throughout the Tampa and Sarasota, Florida markets. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on experience in production homebuilding who can step onto a jobsite and contribute immediately with minimal training. Block Masons will be responsible for laying concrete block foundations and structural masonry components while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lay concrete block for residential foundations and structural walls
- Read and follow job plans, layouts, and grade requirements
- Mix, pour, and apply mortar according to specifications
- Install reinforcement, including rebar and anchors, as required
- Ensure block is level, plumb, and aligned to project standards
- Work efficiently in production homebuilding environments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite
- Use hand tools and masonry equipment safely and effectively
- Coordinate with crew members, supervisors, and other trades
- Meet production schedules while maintaining quality workmanship
- 2+ years of experience in residential block masonry
- Prior experience working in production homebuilding environments
- Familiarity with Tampa/Sarasota residential construction practices preferred
- Ability to work 50-60 hours per week, including weekends as needed
- Ability to start work with little to no training
- Physically able to perform labor-intensive work in outdoor conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable transportation to on-site job locations
- No formal education, licenses, or certifications required
- $24-$28 per hour, based on experience
