$21 - $23 hourly
Responsibilities- Operate loader equipment efficiently to support construction projects, ensuring safety and precision in every task.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on machinery to guarantee optimal performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless workflow on-site.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, fostering a secure environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress and address any operational challenges.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials, contributing to the timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance, supporting transparency and accountability in operations.
- Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 30+ pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
- Knowledge of the proper operation of heavy equipment, as well as safety standards.
- Must pass drug screen and background check.
- This position is out in the elements; the candidate must be willing to work outside.
- Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, give directions, and engage in other business interactions.
- Hearing:
Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. - Speaking:
Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification. - Equipment Operation:
Able to operate a wide range of tools. - Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20 lbs/9 kg.
- Lifting: able to lift up to 30 lbs/14 kg.
- Squatting/Kneeling: able to squat or kneel.
- Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Walking:
Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements. - Sitting: able to sit for long periods while operating the machine.
