CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.
A Brief OverviewThis position will be responsible for both preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance work and minimal installations with our client.
What you will do- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
- Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
- Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.
- Conduct daily activities like drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, repair and installation of Drain Waste and Vent (DWV), installing toilets, water lines, P‑Traps, repair of water leaks, repair/replacement of valves, faucets, sinks, etc.
- Complete all documentation required in compliance with CGL’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
- Perform work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Maintenance, OSHA, and our clients.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace while and after performing grounds keeping tasks.
- Provide training and mentorship to technicians in basic trade skills.
- Drive for the company using either a company vehicle or personal/rental vehicle for more than 50% of the time.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance experience in commercial environments.
- Self‑starter, motivated, and able to work general trade problems.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, night shifts, and be on call when needed.
- Ability to replace automatic sprinkler heads for sprinkler systems.
- Familiarity with facility design and layout.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, teamwork, and customer‑service orientation.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Valid driver’s license (DL) in the state of residence.
