Location: South Bay
Location 420 Construction-Monterey Bay, South Bay, North & East Bay Areas
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing construction operations with the tools and equipment needed to build our construction projects, while ensuring alignment with Graniterock's Generational Strategy and Business Plan.
Essential AccountabilitiesComply, understand, and promote Graniterock safety initiatives to ensure ‘Safety Before All Else.”
Clean, maintain and inventory small tools and supplies.
Check tools in and out and assist with pickup and delivery of small tools as needed.
Maintain small tools storage area, inventory all items returned to yard from jobsites.
Check out towable items; maintain and inventory tools assigned to towable equipment.
Pick up and deliver towable trailers
Conduct daily inventory of heavy equipment and equipment attachments
Education and Work ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent
6 months supplies/tool inventory and ordering experience preferred
Experience working with construction tools preferred
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Good verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work in various computer software programs (Excel and Word)
- Knowledge of Construction Jobs, equipment and needs.
- MUST be able to work overtime, including early starting times and Saturdays.
- Ability to operate a forklift and lift over 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid CA Driver’s License and clean driving record
This position has been identified as a “safety sensitive” role and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing, per the Graniterock Substance Abuse policy.
Salary will be determined based on the individual’s knowledge, skills and experience. Ranges are aligned with market data and/or collective bargaining agreement rates.
