This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC systems (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in heating and cooling equipment.
• Clean, adjust, and replace components such as filters and belts.
• Test system performance using specialized tools and instruments.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Provide recommendations for system upgrades or replacements to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other technicians, contractors, and facility managers to ensure seamless operations. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
• Valid HVAC license (where required by state or local regulations).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or at heights.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills
• EPA Section 608 Certification (handling refrigerants).
• Experience with energy-efficient systems and smart HVAC technologies.
• Customer service experience in dealing with clients or tenants. Working Conditions
• Full-time position with occasional overtime and weekend shifts.
• Work performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
• Exposure to dust, noise, and mechanical hazards; proper PPE provided.
