What You’ll DoAs a Finish Dozer Operator
, you’ll be an essential part of our construction projects, helping ensure that grading and leveling are done to perfection. You’ll operate state‑of‑the‑art equipment, work alongside a dedicated team, and have a direct impact on the success of the project.
- Operate Equipment with Precision: Use finish dozers and skid steers with GPS to complete grading and leveling according to project specifications.
- Prioritize Safety: Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Achieve Accurate Grading: Ensure that grading and leveling are performed accurately, following blueprints and project requirements.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with project managers, supervisors, and other team members to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Communicate Clearly: Keep open lines of communication with your team, updating them on progress, challenges, and equipment needs.
- Problem‑Solve: Tackle any challenges that arise in the grading process with effective solutions.
- Document Your Work: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, inspections, and maintenance performed.
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment, including dozers and skid steers.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a Pre‑Employment Drug Screening.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with your team and supervisors.
- Reliable transportation to commute to various job sites.
- Ability to perform physical labor and remain active throughout the workday.
- Strong time management skills to stay organized and meet deadlines.
