Field Service Technician

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all planned maintenance assigned on customer lift trucks.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after each job.

• Less than 2 years of related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, hydraulics, internal combustion engines, and ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer‑care skills.
• Technical degree, prior lift‑truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various testing equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various testing equipment.
• Industry‑related training preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow through.
