• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of full‑time‑equivalent experience in maintenance and repair of locks and door hardware or related work

• Requires climbing ladders, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

• Coordinate and participate in repairing locks using hand tools and other equipment
• Coordinate the ordering, purchasing, and installation of locking mechanisms and door hardware
• Cut duplicate keys and maintain a log of keys issued or returned

• Knowledge of procedures and methods for cutting keys
• Knowledge of procedures and methods for installing, disassembling, and repairing locks
• Skills in installing, disassembling, and repairing locks
• Skills in operating a key‑cutting machine
• Skills in using a lock pick to open locks
• Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to re‑key existing locks
