Position: MDU Technician [3514]
Location: Gulf Breeze

We have a full-time need for an MDU Technician
, aka, Low Voltage Wireman/Technicians, to perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Fiber, Coaxial & DSL (HSI high-speed internet). Qualified candidates will have experience or knowledge of structured cabling, building construction, GPON installation and ONT activation. MDU projects consist of keeping in communication with the building superintendent to discuss the scope of work details and project timelines. Complete projects in phases from placing and terminating of fiber in micro duct, cat5/6, and coax cables.

You’ll Do

  • Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested
  • Must convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the basic products and services to our customers

  • Assume all other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from our office required
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel and safety toe.
  • Other equipment required by local management will be provided: (hard hat, a reflective safety vest and fall arrest protection)
  • Weekend work and out of town work may be required
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Follow all Grid Source policies and procedures
