Commercial HVAC Technician​/Condominium Specialist

Overview

Total Appliance & AC Repairs, a family-owned and operated business serving the community for over 50 years, is seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and safety of residents in our numerous condominium building contracts. You'll perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and repair complex HVAC systems, and be on-call for emergencies to keep buildings operational.

• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance on large commercial HVAC systems in condominium buildings, including cooling towers, chiller plants, and large package units.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in complex commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform repairs on a variety of commercial HVAC equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of all service calls.
• Be available for on-call emergencies to ensure building systems remain operational.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with customers.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex commercial HVAC systems, including cooling towers, chiller plants, and large package units.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be comfortable working at heights, on roofs, and in crawlspaces.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• EPA certification (preferred).
