Journeyman Electrical

Rooms To Go is seeking a Journeyman Electrical professional to support our busy retail showrooms and distribution centers. In this hands-on role, you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution across stores and warehouses, ensuring safe and reliable operations. You'll troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and interpret blueprints and NEC standards while partnering closely with facilities, logistics, and store leadership in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, panels, and fixtures in retail stores and distribution centers
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on sales floors, showrooms, and warehouse facilities to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative maintenance on lighting, power distribution, and equipment circuits
• Interpret and work from blueprints, diagrams, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Coordinate with facilities, logistics, and store management to schedule and complete work safely and efficiently
• Document work performed, materials used, and recommendations for improvements or repairs
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and applicable electrical codes
• Support setup and reconfiguration of store layouts, displays, and specialty lighting
