Maintenance Tech

West Fraser is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support safe, reliable operations at our modern manufacturing facility. Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair production and support equipment in a wood products manufacturing facility
• Perform scheduled preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uptime
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues using tools and technical documentation
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and parts usage accurately in maintenance systems
• Follow all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements, maintaining a clean, organized work area
• Support installation, commissioning, and optimization of new or upgraded machinery and systems
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
• Participate in continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and reliability initiatives across the mill
