West Fraser is seeking a Maintenance Millwright to join our Engineering & Maintenance team in our manufacturing operation. In this role, you will install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on state-of-the-art milling equipment. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, support continuous improvement projects, and work closely with operations to maximize safety, reliability and uptime. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on milling equipment
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime and reliability
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete timely corrective repairs
- Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics and manuals to plan work
- Collaborate with production, engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance
- Follow strict safety, lockout/tagout and environmental procedures
- Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate equipment records
