Overview
Assist in the installation of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial, residential buildings, and industrial applications in compliance with current codes.
Responsibilities- Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications
- Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field
- Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp
- Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline
- Communicate with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Adhere to company safe working policies and procedures at all times
Pre-employment drug screens; overtime may be required.
Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.
