Augment Human Resource Services is now hiring a General Laborer to support day-to-day cleaning and maintenance at a busy waste and recycling facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.
You’ll be placed on-site at one of our national clients, helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and operations area.
What You’ll DoAs a General Laborer, you’ll assist with keeping the site clean, organized, and free of debris while supporting equipment operators, mechanics, and supervisors with various tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Clean up debris, trash, and loose materials around the yard, shop, and work areas.
- Assist with pressure washing, sweeping, and general cleaning of buildings, pads, and containers.
- Organize tools, equipment, and parts in the yard or shop area.
- Support small maintenance tasks such as painting, organizing parts, or preparing containers.
- Perform minor landscaping or grounds maintenance duties.
- Help direct trucks or equipment traffic when needed.
- Follow all site safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times.
- Report any safety concerns or hazards to site supervisors immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.
Qualifications What We’re Looking ForExperience:
Prior experience in general labor, sanitation, construction, or warehouse work is helpful but not required.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently or in a team.
- Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-minded.
- MUST be at least 18 years old.
- MUST pass a background check and drug screening.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Outdoor and industrial setting - expect exposure to dirt, dust, noise, and varying weather.
- Active, fast-paced work environment focused on safety and teamwork.
