The position involves coordinating field teams, mentoring technicians, and supporting critical business needs through timely issue resolution.

The Senior Technician also manages parts inventory, vendor relationships, and special projects, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory requirements in a dynamic work environment.

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including ductwork, control panels, and refrigeration units.
• Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Manage refrigerant handling and compliance with OSHA, EPA, and HVAC/R codes.
• Coordinate and mentor field teams, providing hands‑on training and evaluating skill development.
• Maintain parts inventory, vendor relationships, and service schedules to meet business priorities.
• Participate in on‑call rotation to support critical operational needs outside regular hours.

• Proven experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC/R systems, including refrigeration units and building pneumatics.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant systems in commercial and industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA refrigerant handling protocols, and compliance with federal, state, and local HVAC/R codes.
• Ability to lead and mentor field teams, providing hands‑on training and evaluating technician performance.
• Proficiency in managing parts inventory, vendor relationships, and coordinating service calls to meet business priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to support cross‑functional teams and continuous process improvements.
