SalarySalary based on experience and degree on the Teacher Pay Scale and 10-month work schedule. Salary schedule can be found on the district website:
Minimum Qualifications- Must hold or be eligible for a license from the State of Delaware as a Speech and Language Pathologist
- Clean Criminal Background Check, TB Test, and Child Protection Registry Clearance must be completed prior to start of employment
- Work in person in the building to which they are assigned
- Perform a variety of duties involved in testing, evaluation, diagnosis, and administration of students with speech and language disorders
- Administer a variety of tests to evaluate speech and language disorders
- Interpret test results and meet with parents and other team members to discuss progress
- Develop Individual Education Plans and related documentation for speech and language children
- Work as a member of a professional interdisciplinary team
- Cooperate with supervisors and staff of various state agencies
- Other related duties as may be required
