Position Summary

Responsible for encouraging the neighbors/clients to follow the housing plans developed in collaboration with the care managers, explaining the resources available, advocating for permanent housing, employment, financial literacy, educational opportunities, and other resources. Reminder the clients of the standards of HOPE Community and redirecting substandard behaviors. Supervises Care Management Support Assistants. Full‑time, 3 p.m.–11 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate degree or two to four (2-4) years of property management (preferred)
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise Care Management Support Assistants
  • Provide ongoing support and advocate to clients throughout the housing process.
  • Ensure the campus (dorms, café, grounds) is cleaned during work shifts.
  • Responsible for ensuring shifts are covered, including calendar and agency holidays.
  • Responsible for tracking and ensuring staff time worked is accurate.
  • Answer client questions or concerns and advocate for their housing needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, document lack of positive behavioral issues.
  • Ability to write reports, incident reports, emails and other written communication as needed.
  • Communicate with case managers regarding the clients’ needs, observed behaviors, and advocate for services and resources.
  • Conduct activities to educate clients and encourage participation in workshops, community events, and raise awareness about housing options.
  • Follow up with clients for status on support services and answer any questions.
  • Data entry into HMIS and/or required data management systems to record client information, track status completion.
  • Providing exceptional customer services by conducting positive interactions, ensure clients have access to up-to-date information and resources to make informed decisions about housing needs.
  • Satisfactory completion of agency’s mandatory training by the established deadline.

  • Critical thinking skills, detail oriented, ability solve or resolve discrepancies
  • Ability to create work schedules and manage shifts
  • Strong and positive verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal communication and active listening skills and the ability to deal with individuals in a crisis.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and the ability to work independently.
  • Competent working on computers, including proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Strong organizational abilities, time management, and communication skills.
  • De‑escalation and crisis intervention skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional and personal boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to work with marginalized or underserved client populations, e.g., experiencing homelessness.
