Threat Tec, LLC is a Veteran‑Owned Small Business and currently has openings for Brazilian Portuguese Associate Language Instructors to join our growing team in Eglin AFB, Florida.

Language Associate Language Instructor will support the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) 1st SFC(A) which has an ongoing requirement for foreign Language, Regional Expertise, and Cultural (LREC) instruction and LREC program support services.

• Provide instruction in listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills, as well as regional and culture subjects, using modern communicative methodology.
• Integrate technology in the classroom and in homework assignments employing resources such as Smart Boards, Blackboard, Rapid Rote, SharePoint, the Internet, iPads, Tablet PCs, or other state‑of‑the‑art devices provided by the Government.
• Develop learning materials and lesson plans, taking attendance and creating daily and weekly progress reports.
• Correct and grade homework, assessments, and quizzes; provide weekly feedback with Site Lead and POI analyst.
• Maintain a positive and professional learning environment, addressing student behavior and attendance concerns with the site lead.
• Collaborate with Site Lead, POI analyst, or Language Instructional Developer to address student and curriculum gaps.
• Assist the Government in the management of all aspects of the unit’s foreign LREC training program.
• Execute planned POI and ad‑hoc tutoring sessions without deviating from the POI without Government approval.

• At least ILR level 2 as measured by a DoD test.
• Minimum TOEFL PBT score of 553 or TOEFL iBT score of at least 83 overall, with at least 20 in each section.
• Minimum English Comprehension Level (ECL) test score of 82.
• At least proficiency level 2 or Advanced‑Low (ACTFL) on an Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI).
• General professional proficiency (ILR level 2+ or ACTFL Advanced‑High) or higher in the specified foreign language, demonstrated by one of the following: oral proficiency interview (OPI) or 2‑skill OPI from DLIFLC; an interview certified by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages; or the Defense Language Proficiency Test.
• At least 80 hours documented training in online language teaching.
• All candidates must take and pass the required foreign language test.

• May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Travel may be required.
