Responsible for the supervision of defendants released to Pretrial Services. Primary responsibilities include assuring defendants understand court-ordered conditions of release, monitoring compliance of court-ordered conditions, and providing case-related data to the judiciary.

• Responsible for the supervision of defendants released to Pretrial Services and ensuring defendants understand and comply with court-ordered conditions of release.
• Responsible for notifying the court of (non) compliance with conditions of release and providing case-related information to the judiciary.
• Responsible for the observation, collection, and transport of urine specimens from defendants in Court Services programs.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed electronic case notes, to include drug testing results.
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining program-related statistical data.
• Responsible for interviewing defendants, researching criminal histories and preparing corresponding paperwork to be considered by the Judiciary.
• Conduct field visits and monitor GPS cases, as needed.
• Performs related work as required.
• In the event of an emergency, all employees are considered essential personnel and shall be required to perform alternate duties.

• Minimum 6 years’ experience or 4-year degree in related field and 2 years’ experience.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s License.
• Must agree to obtain Certified Pretrial Services Practitioner through the National Association of Pretrial Services Agencies (NAPSA) at the employee’s expense within one year of date of hire.
• Must agree to obtain FDLE (Florida Department of Law Enforcement) CJIS (Criminal Justice Information System) certification within one year of date of hire.
