We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) Engineer to support a Florida State Government client. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise middleware integrations, APIs, web services, and Java-based applications while working closely with the client's technology team.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise application integrations.
- Support and maintain Red Hat Fuse, Apache Camel, and JBoss EAP environments.
- Develop and support Java-based applications, REST/SOAP Web Services, and APIs.
- Build and maintain integrations between front-end, middleware, and back-end systems.
- Support Linux and Windows server environments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing operational support.
- Develop and maintain custom batch processes.
- Participate in system upgrades, maintenance, and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and stakeholders to implement integration solutions.
- Participate in weekly status meetings and provide project updates.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application development, systems analysis, or enterprise integration.
- Experience with enterprise application architecture and middleware technologies.

- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience working with application development best practices and design standards.
- Experience gathering business and technical requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise middleware platforms.
- Experience working in large enterprise or government environments.
- Knowledge of integration architecture and messaging concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
