Mattress Home is a fast-growing, family‑owned mattress retailer serving the Suncoast of Florida. We take pride in delivering a clean, professional, and high‑quality experience from our warehouse to our customers’ homes.

We are hiring a Delivery Driver Assistant to join our delivery team full‑time. This is a hands‑on, physically active position with a clear growth path into a Lead Delivery Driver role.

You will work inside the delivery truck 5 days per week, assisting our Lead Driver with:

• Loading and staging deliveries
• Navigating delivery routes
• Delivering mattresses and adjustable bases into customers’ homes
• Setting up products safely and professionally
• Removing old bedding (when eligible)
• Maintaining truck cleanliness and organization

This role requires professionalism, energy, and strong teamwork. You will also drive the truck approximately one day per week, so a valid driver’s license and safe driving skills are required.

• $18 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.5× rate
• Typical schedule:
  
  8–10 hour days
• 40–50 hours per week depending on season and volume

This is a full‑time position with consistent hours and overtime opportunities.

This position is designed as a training path into Lead Delivery Driver. If you show:

You will be considered first when a Lead Driver position becomes available.

• Assist with daily route deliveries
• Safely lift and maneuver mattresses (up to 150 lbs with assistance)
• Provide clean, respectful in‑home service
• Support setup of adjustable bases and furniture
• Learn route management and delivery procedures
• Maintain a clean and professional truck
• Communicate effectively with Lead Driver and Warehouse Team

• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable driving a 20–26 ft box truck
• Physically capable of lifting up to 150 lbs (with team assistance)
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong team player
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required

This is not a “ride-along” position. This is a physically demanding, fast‑paced delivery role.
