Job SummaryGuardian Fleet Services is looking for a Lot Attendant who is in charge of moving trucks and organizing the lot to ensure smooth, efficient traffic flow, increase customer convenience, and maintain an orderly service area.
Essential Duties- Ensuring lot is organized, clean, and free from trash, litter, and debris.
- Arranging and parking vehicles in designated lot areas.
- Overseeing and maintaining inventory.
- Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory; ensuring the most marketable vehicles are displayed first.
- Informing supervisor of issues as they arise.
- Managing lot inventory and systems.
- Ensuring all vehicle information is entered into the company’s software.
- Overseeing the release of all vehicles.
- Releasing vehicles and verifying form of payment.
- Matching system records to forms of payment.
- Marking vehicles that are on the way out.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures.
- All other duties assigned by management.
- Must be able to speak, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to communicate calmly and effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and information.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Time management skills.
Regularly exposed to and working outdoors in the environment, with potential exposure to extreme cold and extreme heat. The job requires walking, standing, bending, crawling, pulling, use of hands, ability to lift, and good hearing and vision.
