We’re seeking a compassionate Patient Transporter to provide essential transportation support for our patients during their recovery journey from Alabama to Florida
. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients travel safely from pickup to their necessary destinations.
- Reporting to: Director of Operations
- Schedule: Per-diem (As needed)
- Location: Montgomery/Birmingham, AL area (Travel required to Gulf Breeze, FL)

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients to the Gulf Breeze, FL facility from designated pickup locations in the Birmingham/Montgomery areas.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Operate a company-provided vehicle (e.g., Enterprise) responsibly, including completing maintenance, maintaining cleanliness, and promptly reporting maintenance or safety concerns.
- Safety and Professionalism: Maintain a secure and professional environment during transport, adhering to all policies and protocols.
- Patient Interaction: Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.

Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with staff to coordinate patient schedules and report any concerns.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean DMV record for the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 23 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of patient safety and confidentiality standards.
- Relevant certifications in CPR or first aid are a plus.
