Warehouse Associate

Overview

The primary goal of the Warehouse Item Puller is to efficiently and accurately fulfill customer orders by retrieving and preparing the requested products for shipment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as the role involves manual handling of inventory.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Problem-solving skills to address any discrepancies or issues with orders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret customer orders to determine the required items.
• Navigate the warehouse efficiently to locate and pull the specified products.
• Ensure accuracy in item selection and quantity.
• Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
• Communicate any discrepancies or stock shortages to the appropriate personnel.
• Collaborate with packing and shipping teams to meet order fulfillment deadlines.
• Follow quality control procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Properly use and maintain warehouse equipment, such as order pickers and pallet jacks.
• Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status and issues.

• Lifting 50 lbs. frequently
• Pushing/Pulling occasionally
• Standing/bending/stooping frequently
• Working in confined spaces

• Drive a company vehicle as required to perform job duties (pre-employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed to determine eligibility to drive a company vehicle)
